Indexed plans
$25,000 next year is not $25,000 today.
Index the money you lend a friend to gold, a currency or the consumer price index. Each instalment is worked out from the current value, so the loan keeps its worth and nobody has to bring it up.
Gold-indexed
The debt is set in grams of gold; each instalment is paid at the current gram price.
Currency-indexed
Anchor it to USD or EUR; the local amount is recalculated with each new rate.
Inflation-indexed
Adjusted by the consumer price index; purchasing power holds, the number stops being an argument.
There are also interest-free instalments and fixed or variable interest plans; all six are set up in the same wizard.
How indexed plans workSplit in groups
Lake house, roommates, office lunches.
Add the expense, pick how it splits, and see who owes whom at a glance.
Equal, percentage, shares or exact amounts. In equal splits you can give someone a weight of two, for a couple sharing one budget or a parent paying for a child.
Add friends by name. No account needed to split with someone: add them by name and they're in the expenses straight away. When they open the group's link, they pick their name and everything under it becomes theirs.
Turn a balance into a plan. When a balance won't be paid back soon, Create plan on that row opens the plan wizard with the person and the amount filled in.
Move over from Splitwise. Upload Splitwise's CSV export and the group, its members, its expenses and its payments come across. Rows in another currency are converted into the group's at the rate of their own day.
Settle up
Share where to pay, send a reminder, record the payment.
Each payment is one line: who paid whom, when and how much. It stays in the ledger.
Share your bank details only in the groups you choose
Payment accounts are private; only members of a group or plan you've published them to can see them. Bank transfer or digital wallet.
A polite nudge
"Maya reminds you about $48." That's the whole notification. No pressure, no exclamation marks.
One timeline
Every transaction from groups, plans and manual entries in a single feed. Your personal spending goes here too.
Mobile
The same app in your pocket.
The iOS and Android apps open the same account, and notifications reach your phone. Groups and plans you set up on the web are already there.
The apps aren't in the stores yet. Until then my.fairsettle.app works in your phone's browser; the store links will appear here.
Is it really free?
Yes, with no limits and no ads. If a feature with a real per-use cost ever arrives, like something built on AI, it will be priced separately and announced in the app first. Nothing that works today will move behind a payment.
Where is my data, and can I delete it?
It's stored in the cloud, on Google's infrastructure; the privacy policy names every service and what it handles. You delete your account yourself from settings; in shared groups your name becomes "Deleted account" so nobody else's balance breaks.
Can I move over from Splitwise?
Yes. Upload Splitwise's CSV export and the group, its members, its expenses and its payments come across, and the balances come out the same as in Splitwise. A group here keeps one currency: rows in any other currency are converted into it at the rate of the day they happened.
Where do the currency, gold and inflation values come from?
The day's exchange rate and gold price come in with one tap, and so does CPI for a plan in Turkish lira (TÜİK, base 2025=100). In other currencies CPI is entered by hand each month. Any value can be corrected, and every change shows in the plan's history.
App or web?
Both. my.fairsettle.app runs in any browser, on your phone too, and the iOS and Android apps open the same account.
